I took over 200 photos during the 10th stage of my walk along the Derwent River, downloaded then sorted those photos. Alas, I overlooked including my photos taken as I walked past the Derwent Entertainment Centre, in recent postings.
The photo below is when I was looking back as I was about to leave the area.
This Centre has seen some extraordinary acts and visitors including the Australian Visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Powderfinger “Sunsets” Tour, “Keeping it Real” Daniel Geale World Title Event, Grease – The Arena Spectacular, Building and other Expos and much much more.
Walking the Derwent River 
When I was in Tasmania as an exchange student, I saw Jimmy Barnes at the Derwent Entertainment Centre with friends. Sad to say, I don’t remember much about the venue but I do remember singing along to “Lay Down Your Guns” at the top of my lungs!

Ahh those wonderful days of Cold Chisel and all. But Jimmy Barnes is still singing and he is a sort of elder statesman in the business. Now his daughter is singing professionally as well. So – you have been to Tassie before albeit a while ago. I wonder how much it has changed since you were here last. Will be fun to find out.
